Debbie Chau

Registered Physiotherapist

Debbie graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2011. Since then, she has invested her time into continuing education and professional development to further her skills as a physical therapist. After extensive post-graduate training and mentorship, she received her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, and the internationally recognized designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT). Debbie is also certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS). Debbie enjoys and believes in mentoring other physiotherapists who are pursuing similar credentials.

In her practice, Debbie believes strongly in the application of manual therapy. In conjunction, Debbie utilizes a multi-faceted approach that includes prescribed exercises, client education, and/or needling to help clients achieve their goals and best outcomes. Debbie enjoys helping her clients get back to their pre-injury function, whether that be return to work or doing the day-to-day things that they love. Debbie is fluent in both English and Cantonese.

Outside of her practice, Debbie is a busy mother of two. She also enjoys running, spending time with her family, and recreational sports.
