Do I need a Doctor’s referral for Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy or Clinical Pilates?

No, you do not require a referral to see one of our Registered Professionals. Some insurance companies may require a referral from a physician for reimbursement. If you are unsure, please check with your individual provider.

Are your services covered under extended health?

Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy are commonly included in most extended health benefits plans. Clinical Pilates and Exercise Therapy are prescribed when indicated as part of a Physiotherapy directed treatment program and may be reimbursable through extended health plans under Physiotherapy. Please check with your individual provider as insurance coverage often differs by company.

What should I bring to my initial Appointment

Please wear clothing that allows you to move comfortably
-referral or any other medically relevant documents
-If you have not completed our intake forms online, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your initial appointment to fill these out.
ICBC: please bring your claim number, date of injury, personal health care number

Do you provide Direct Billing?

At this time we do not provide direct billing. You pay for the appointment fee at the time of your visit, and we will issue you a receipt with all of the necessary information required to submit to your provider for reimbursement.

What is your Cancellation Policy

We ask that you please provide us with 24 hours notice for a change, or cancellation to your appointment. You can conveniently manage your appointment booking online, give us a call or send us an email.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you, late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged the full fee for your appointment time. Thank you for your understanding.

Where do I check in for my initial appointment?

Please use the True Physio + Pilates entrance located at the back of the building facing the alley. Come up the stairs or elevator and have a seat in the white waiting room chairs. Your therapist will come to check you in when they are finished with their previous patient.
