Kadi is a physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. In 2015, she received the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Award for outstanding academic and clinical performance. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University.
As a certified clinical Pilates instructor, Kadi integrates Pilates-based movement therapy into her practice to help individuals of all abilities improve strength and mobility. She works collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that support their functional goals.
With a background as a competitive gymnast representing British Columbia at the Western and Canadian National Artistic Gymnastics Championships, Kadi brings a unique perspective to injury prevention and recovery for youth athletes. Her many years of experience coaching both recreational and competitive gymnastics enable her to effectively support athletes in safely returning to sport.
Kadi is also passionate about supporting individuals living with chronic conditions and has facilitated educational and exercise programs for adults and children with arthritis. Her personal experience enhances her ability to help individuals with chronic illness overcome obstacles.
Kadi’s practice is grounded in client-centred care and she holds additional certifications in functional dry needling (IMS), acupuncture, scar release, and manual therapy. She focuses on empowering people through education and movement to help them achieve their personal goals.
