Tanya Mclean

Tanya earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2014, following a Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a specialization in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in 2011. She recently completed her Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) and holds certification in Functional Dry Needling (IMS).

Tanya’s passion for sport and orthopaedic physiotherapy is rooted in her own athletic background as a long-time member of the Delta sports community. She played softball with the Delta Heat organization and went on to represent Team BC at both the Western Canada Summer Games and the Canada Summer Games. Tanya also competed internationally as a member of the Canadian Junior Women’s National Team at the Pan American Qualifiers and World Junior Championships.

While completing her Human Kinetics degree, Tanya was a varsity athlete and was named Athlete of the Year by the Delta Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.

Tanya is dedicated to helping individuals of all levels and abilities reach their goals. She brings experience working with varsity athletes, community sports teams, competitive dancers, and the local Delta branch of Special Olympics BC.
